Meet the Doctors
At Middletown Family Chiropractic, the focus is always on achieving results for our practice members. For Dr. Liz and Dr. Xavier, the best results occur with a comprehensive approach to each practice member's health. No one person is made the same and that approach to health rarely delivers life changing results. Our doctors will meet you where you are on your health journey!

Dr. Liz opened Middletown Family Chiropractic with her husband, Dr. Xavier, in 2014.
Dr. Xavier Counts
Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Xavier knew at a young age he wanted to be involved with helping people. While completing his BS in Biology, he enlisted in the US Army and received advanced trauma training as a Medic. While working in VA Hospitals all over the country, he saw a need for true healthcare, not "sickcare", and enrolled at Logan College of Chiropractic. Following Chiropractic school, he began work as an Associate Chiropractor at some of the largest clinics in the state of Florida. Throughout his career, Dr. Xavier has been able to work with some of the best doctors in the world, including as Sports Performance Council doctor with USA Wrestling at the Rio Olympics. However, his focus is on helping the city of Louisville change the way we view and manage our health. Through advanced certifications in Spinal Correction and Nutrition, he brings a holistic approach to healing. Dr. Xavier and his wife, Dr. Liz, opened Middletown Family Chiropractic in 2014.
Our staff members work with our doctors every day to provide our patients with a professional and friendly experience.
Luanne is a 2017 graduate of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and is a Certified Health Coach. While attending The Institute for Integrative Nutrition, Luanne received a deeper understanding of lifestyle changes and nutritional theories. She has been able to use her own personal testimony of weight loss (100+ pounds) to become a leader in showing others that weight loss doesn't come from a lotion, potion or pill, but through quality nutrition, exercise, and chiropractic care. She uses her own weight loss and chiropractic testimony as an inspiration to others. Luanne's mission is to show others that true health is attainable by simple lifestyle changes.
Carly is utilizing her passion for people and wellness in her role as Account Specialist for the office. Growing up she spent a lot of time following her father around his medical office. She loved studying biology in school but got her Bachelor’s of Science in Commercial Art from Ashland University in 2016. Her artistic creativity expanded into culinary creations and she found a passion for healthy eating/cooking. Carly is happiest at home, with her husband, fur babies, a fridge full of veggies, and a workout dvd.
Lizzie is a graduate of University of Louisville with a Bachelors degree in Health & Human performance with a concentration in exercise science. She competed on the UofL rowing team for four years. Lizzie understands the dedication it not only takes for your sport, but ultimately your health! There must always be a next step…a follow-up plan. Being an athlete taught her to appreciate health. Without a healthy body, you can’t compete. We place so much demand on our bodies day in and day out that health HAS to be a priority. How can we be effective mothers, fathers, wives, husbands, brothers, sisters, employees, etc. with poor health?! Each person has many roles to fill on a daily basis, so why not invest in bettering the fulfillment of those roles and embrace the health you have today?! Health is a GIFT, not something we’re entitled to. Let’s start appreciating that gift and take ownership. I am here to help you take the necessary steps to start and continue that process. I am here to take you through each step toward regaining your health and fulfilling your purpose.

Every once and awhile you might just run in to the doctors dog, Albert! He is energetic, playful, and greets everyone that comes in the door with a wagging tail and desire to be loved on. He is hypoallergenic, does not shed, and is great with kids! He only comes in about once per week but is so happy to mingle with all his friends at MFC.
